Stephen Mirota, age about 18, with friends. "That's right take it easy while I'm gone." 1928

Stephen Mirota with friends. “That’s right take it easy while I’m gone.” Photograph copyright Genealogy Sisters.

This photograph was taken in Readington Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, when Stephen Mirota was 17 years old. It was taken at his family’s farm. That is Pickle’s Mountain in the distance. Steve is the handsome lad in the middle. The two other young men look very dapper. They could be friends from Readington Township, or co-workers.

Worldess Wednesday is a blogging prompt suggested by Geneablogger.

A good-looking trio, but they’re not dressed for farm-life, eh? Maybe it was Sunday?

GP, So true! I think most likely a Sunday visit! Steve was so happy to get a job away from the farm. His brother Joe was the opposite, and never left.
